Sharing Christ with the Lost Through Motor Vehicles

What We Believe

  • The Holy Bible, consisting of the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, is the infallible Word of God, verbally inspired by God, and without error in the original manuscripts
  • There is one and only one living and true God. He is an intelligent, spiritual, and personal Being, the Creator, Redeemer, Preserver, and Ruler of the universe
  • God the Father reigns with providential care over His universe, His creatures, and human history according to His will for all mankind and creatures who inhabit His universe
  • Christ is the eternal Son of God. In His incarnation as Jesus Christ He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. Jesus perfectly revealed and did the will of God. By His perfect obedience to God and by His suffering and death as the immaculate Lamb of God, He obtained forgiveness of sins and the gift of perfect righteousness for all who trusted in God prior to the cross and all who would trust in Christ thereafter
  • The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, fully divine. He inspired holy men of old to write the Scriptures. Through illumination He enables men to understand truth. He exalts Christ. He convicts men of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment.
  • Satan is a real, personal being, also known as the Devil. He was created by God as an angel but through pride and rebellion became the enemy of his Creator.
  • Man is the special creation of God, made in His own image. God directly created Adam from the dust of the ground and Eve from his side, and these two were the historical parents of the entire human race. By his free choice man sinned against God and brought sin into the human race
  • Salvation involves the redemption of the whole man, and is offered freely to all who receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. It consists of:
    • Regeneration, or the new birth, is a work of God's grace whereby believers become new creatures in Christ Jesus
    • Justification is God's gracious and full acquittal upon principles of His righteousness of all sinners who repent and believe in Christ
    • Sanctification is the experience, beginning in regeneration, by which the believer is set apart to God's purposes
    • Glorification (in Heaven) is the culmination of salvation and is the final blessed and abiding state of the redeemed.
    • Election is the gracious purpose of God, according to which He regenerates, justifies, sanctifies, and glorifies sinners. It is consistent with the free agency of man, and comprehends all the means in connection with the end.
  • God, in His own time and in accordance with His word, will bring the world to its appropriate end. According to His promise, Jesus Christ will conquer every enemy, including death itself; the dead will be raised; and Christ will judge all men in righteousness. The unrighteous will be consigned to Hell, the place of everlasting punishment. The righteous in their resurrected and glorified bodies will receive their reward and will dwell forever in the new heaven and the new earth with the Lord.

Fuel for Thought

But in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you - 1 Peter 3:15

Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and God our Father who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts and establish them in every good work and word - 2 Thessalonians 2 16:17

Peace with God Through Faith

Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through Him we have also obtained access by faith into this  grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance produces character, and character prduces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. - Romans 5:1-5
